Another of the wonderful
old Hybrid Teas we chosen to preserve rather than let slip away due to it's
virus status. Lucky Piece, like most all roses from the 60's and later
suffers from RMV and shows it as well as any I've ever seen. That
aside, our mother plant is now 45 years old! That in itself speaks to
how tough this rose is.
Lucky Piece is a sport of Peace. As the bloom ages it shows the
copper and yellow blends of Peace but is more pink overall. The bloom
shown in the pic is fresh, not yet showing the copper and yellows very well.
Growth is typical Hybrid Tea - upright and to about 4-5 feet.
Fragrance is like Peace, slight.
