| Orange Hearts much
resembles the other Polyanthas but a mature bush produces absolutely huge
sprays of 20-30 blooms per. The initial spring flush absolutely covers
the bush and never fails to attract attention. The plant is vigorous
but seems to be only average in resistance to black spot. Like
many other "polys" the fungus is there in a non-spray situation but
generally is not a problem for the plant. If you look at the picture
here you'll see the black spot as bad as it usually gets. In a normal
spray program I wouldn't expect any problems at all. Blooms are
average size for a poly and while not "perfume" fragrant, do have a slight
smell to my nose. Good stock for the 2008 season.
