| Country Dancer is one of
the few Buck roses we grow here. I think this is one of if not Dr.
Bucks finest roses. It has most if not all the qualities you could ask
for in a rose -health (we started with U.C. Davis virus indexed stock),
bloom - lovely medium-dark pink blooms of saucer size, growth habit - makes
a pleasing 4 - 6 foot bush. This will also be one of our listings as a
"Tennessee Green" rose as it does very well here. Country Dancer has
had a rather colored reputation in the past in regards to disease
resistance, etc. but I believe this was due to the underlying virus problems
in the plant. Ours seem to be very healthy in every respect. As
with all Buck roses, these were bred for their hardiness and do well further
north as well.
