| Except for color this
sport of Knockout is identical in every way to the earlier variety, although
I'd swear Blushing has slightly more fragrance! Bloom and growth is
fast and furious with this variety, almost to the point of being
unstoppable! Blooms continuously from early Spring past frost.
Almost "disease proof! Will be added to our recommended listing of
"Tennessee Green" roses that are "carefree" here. It is drought and
heat tolerant, treat it right , perhaps fertilize once a year and it'll
reward you accordingly. Humidity has no effect on the plant....blackspot and
mildew doesn't like any of the Knockout varieties, it should prove to be one
of the best shrub type roses on the market, it's definitely very close
to the top! Planted in groups of five or more Blushing Knockout is an
eye stopper.
